Echo Boards and Products is seeking a full-time Welder to join our growing team. We manufacture and supply electrical products and switchboards tailored to our customers’ requirements, including meter boxes, steel enclosures, main switchboards, panel surrounds, UGOH channels, conduit covers and meter load centres.
Due to continued demand for our products and services, we are looking to expand our team. If you are an experienced Welder with strong attention to detail and a reliable work ethic, we would like to hear from you.
What you will do:
- Read and interpret drawings, plans, work instructions and specifications to determine welding and fabrication requirements.
- Measure, mark and prepare metal components using appropriate tools and equipment.
- Cut, shape, bend and assemble metal parts according to job requirements.
- Join metal components using welding techniques, bolts, rivets and other fastening methods.
- Carry out welding work on steel enclosures, switchboard components and related fabricated products.
- Inspect completed welds and fabricated parts to ensure strength, accuracy and quality.
- Clean, smooth, polish and finish welded joints using filing, grinding and other finishing methods.
- Follow workplace health and safety procedures and maintain a clean and organised work area.
We are looking for someone who is able to join us on a permanent and full-time basis. This is not a trainee position, so please only apply if you have at least 1 year of full-time relevant experience.
We are offering a competitive salary of $75,000 - $85,000 per annum.
