Eurofins Environment Testing Australia is an Environmental testing network of fully accredited laboratories. With a staff of over 200 our laboratories are located in Sydney, Melbourne, Perth, Brisbane and with Client Service Offices located in Adelaide, Darwin, Newcastle and Wollongong. We also operate field sampling services out of Melbourne and Sydney. We specialise in all areas of Environmental analysis, including Contaminated Soil, Sludge, Sediments, Leachate, Soil Vapour, Trade Waste Effluents, Sewage Effluents, Stack Emissions, Work Place Air, Ambient Air, Dust, Drinking Water, Surface Water run off, River & Stream Monitoring, Seawater, and Groundwater. 

Job Description

  • Full Time Fixed Term - 3 months contract
  • This position is based in Girraween

The Warehouse Assistant role is responsible for ensuring that all samples effectively pass through the laboratory in an orderly fashion, that they are easily accessible by laboratory staff, and that they are removed from refrigeration and put in storage or disposed of once completed.

Reporting to the Business Unit Manager, the role will focus on:

  • Oversee day‑to‑day warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, inventory control, picking, packing, and dispatch
  • Ensure compliance with WHS requirements, safe work practices, and company policies
  • Maintain accurate stock levels and inventory records using the ERP system
  • Use the ERP system to manage goods receipt, stock movements, purchase orders, traceability, and reporting
  • Liaise with suppliers to identify products, confirm specifications, resolve supply issues, and support procurement activities
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders (operations, laboratories, logistics, finance) to align warehouse activities with business needs
  • Ensure timely availability of consumables and materials to support operational demand
  • Maintain high standards of warehouse housekeeping and organisation

Qualifications

  • Manual Handling Certificate (desirable)
  • Fork Lifting License
  • Previous experience in procurement systems like Coupa or similar (highly desirable)

On the job training will be provided, along with the use of our systems and programs. Previous exposure to a warehouse environment would hold you in good stead, however our successful candidate will have a can-do attitude and is willing to roll up their sleeves to get things done
