Join a high-performing distribution team at Coles RDC Kewdale, where your work plays a vital role in keeping stores stocked and communities supplied. We are currently seeking reliable, safety-focused, and physically capable Voice Pickers to join our fast-paced warehouse operation.

This is a hands-on, physically demanding role, best suited to individuals who enjoy being active, working on their feet, and contributing to a strong team environment.
 

ABOUT THE ROLE

As a Voice Picker, you will be responsible for accurately picking and preparing orders to Coles standards while working safely and efficiently in a high-volume distribution centre.
 

AVAILABILITY & COMMITMENT

To be considered, candidates must be able to commit to:

  • 5–6-day roster
  • 8–10-hour shifts
  • Must be available to work during peak periods, including Easter, Christmas, and New Year
  • Consistent reliability and strong attendance

This role offers a clear pathway to become a Coles Team Member, based on consistent performance, safety, attendance, attitude, and behaviour.
 

MANDATORY PAID TRAINING

All successful candidates are required to complete a mandatory, fully paid training week, which:

  • Runs Monday to Friday
  • Must be attended in full
  • Covers safety, systems, equipment, and role expectations

This training is essential to ensure you can perform the role safely and confidently.
 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Accurately pick orders using voice-picking systems
  • Operate LLOP (Low Level Order Picker) equipment
  • Perform manual handling and lift cartons throughout each shift
  • Pack and prepare orders to Coles quality standards
  • Work across temperature-controlled environments
  • Follow all safety, quality, and operational procedures
  • Maintain a clean and organised work area
  • Work collaboratively to meet daily operational targets

PHYSICAL & ENVIRONMENTAL REQUIREMENTS

This is a highly physical role. Candidates must be able to:

  • Walk, bend, reach, and lift continuously for the duration of each shift
  • Regularly lift heavy cartons
  • Work across multiple warehouse environments:
    • Ambient – Mandatory
    • Chiller – Mandatory
    • Freezer – Mandatory

If you are not comfortable with physical work or manual handling, this role may not be suitable.

PRE-EMPLOYMENT REQUIREMENTS

All successful candidates must be able to:

  • Pass a Pre-Employment Medical Assessment
  • Pass Drug and Alcohol Screening
  • Obtain a National Police Check
  • Provide Proof of Full Working Rights within Australia
