Position: Vehicle Spray Painter & Panel Beater

Motorspec Pty Ltd offers quality vehicle sales and professional automotive repair services, proudly serving customers in Kenwick WA and the surrounding areas.

We are currently seeking for permanent, full time Panel Beater & Vehicle Spray Painter to join our team.

Vehicle Spray Painter

Key Responsibilities:

The successful applicant must be able to perform the following duties with minimal supervision:

1. Prepare vehicles for painting
2. Colour match metallic and pearl finishes
3. Paint vehicles to a high standard
4. Buff and polish painted panels
5. Monitor and maintain stock of paint and consumables
6. Provide guidance and supervision to apprentices

Skills & Experience Required

1. Relevant trade qualification or has at least 5 years work experience
2. Strong teamwork skills with the ability to work independently and under pressure
3. High attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship

Panel Beater

Key Responsibilities:

1. Perform all panel beating and body repair tasks to industry standards
2. Repair, replace, and straighten body panels
3. Conduct structural and cosmetic repairs using appropriate tools and equipment
4. Dismantle and reassemble body components
5. Work efficiently to meet workshop timeframes

Skills & Experience Required

1. Relevant trade qualification or has at least 5 years work experience
2. Ability to work autonomously and within a team environment
3. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
4. Experience with modern repair techniques and equipment

Salary Range: $76,515 to 90,000 (depending on skills & experience)
