Our business is located at 8 Conquest Way, Wangara WA 6065.
Roles and Responsibilities include:
·Safely and efficiently load, transport, and unload sand materials using the tipper truck’s lifting, tipping, and hydraulic mechanisms while complying with operational and safety requirements.
·Assess loading and unloading locations prior to operations to identify potential hazards and implement appropriate safety measures in accordance with workplace and road transport regulations.
·Position the tipper truck accurately at loading and delivery sites, taking into consideration site accessibility, available space, ground conditions, and operational safety requirements.
·Verify transport documentation against the materials being loaded and delivered, ensuring the accuracy of quantities and specifications. Inspect the condition of the goods and obtain signed delivery confirmations from recipients upon successful receipt.
· Organise, arrange, and secure materials within the truck’s tip tray to maintain load stability and minimise movement or spillage during transportation.
·Utilise suitable load restraint equipment, dividers, bins, covers, and securing devices to protect materials and ensure their safe storage and transportation in compliance with relevant regulations.
·Maintain the cleanliness and presentation of the tipper truck and associated company equipment, ensuring they remain in a safe and serviceable condition.
· Perform routine pre-operational and post-operational inspections of the vehicle, including checks of tyres, brakes, lights, hydraulic systems, fluid levels, and other critical components to ensure roadworthiness and operational reliability.
• Calculate and assess the approximate weight of materials being transported to ensure proper load distribution, balance, and restraint within the tip tray, while complying with legal weight limits and transport regulations.
• Ensure all transportation activities are conducted in accordance with applicable road safety laws, workplace health and safety requirements, and company policies and procedures.
Skills and Experience:
·Certificate III qualification is required.
·The candidate must have at least 2 years of relevant experience.
·You will be required to drive Truck and Trailer Attached
·Start 6.30 every day during weekdays and occasionally on Saturday
· White Card is required.
·Friendly, positive & approachable attitude.
·To be energetic & motivated.
·Able to work under pressure.
Salary Package: $85,000 - $95,000 Plus Superannuation per annum.
