Join a leading QLD organisation embarking on a transformational journey to modernise complex energy systems and implement advanced software capabilities.

This 6-month contract offers an exciting opportunity to work closely with Test Managers and Business SMEs, playing a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of critical applications. If you thrive in a fast-paced operational environment and enjoy solving technical problems, this role is for you.

This is a hybrid role with a requirement to attend the office 3 times a week.

What You Will Do:

• Analyse business and technical requirements to design effective test strategies, plans, and detailed test cases.
• Perform functional, integration, regression, and performance testing across complex software systems.
• Identify, document, and track defects using standard tools while collaborating with developers and stakeholders to resolve issues.
• Create and manage traceability matrices to verify requirements coverage during testing preparation and execution.
• Generate comprehensive test reports, quality metrics, and summary reports to support continuous improvement and decision-making.

What You Need to Apply for This Role:

• 5+ years Test Analyst experience in complex system environments.
• ISTQB Certified Tester Foundation Level Certification (CTFL) or a similar professional qualification.
• Familiarity with AEMS, SCADA systems, smart grid technologies, or energy trading platforms.
• Experience using tools like ALM, JIRA, and Xray.
• Experience with test automation tools (e.g., Selenium, SoapUI, Postman) and scripting languages.
• Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, frameworks, quality processes, and the defect management lifecycle.
• A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
