Job Description:
As a Telecommunications Field Engineer, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting telecommunications networks and infrastructure. You will work on various projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards and providing technical support as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
Install, configure, and maintain telecommunications equipment, including fiber optics, wireless networks, and structured cabling.
Perform site surveys and assess technical requirements for installations. Troubleshoot and repair network and hardware issues to minimize downtime.
Ensure compliance with Australian safety standards and industry regulations. Conduct system testing and performance assessments.
Collaborate with project managers, clients, and other engineers to deliver high-quality solutions.
Maintain detailed reports on project progress and system performance.
Requirements:
Qualification in Telecommunications, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
Proven experience in telecommunications field engineering, installation, and maintenance. Strong knowledge of network protocols, RF systems, fiber optics, and wireless technologies.
