Your responsibilities will include:

• Act as primary point of contact for ALIS/ODIN/MPSE users
• Create and manage user accounts, access, and security
• Provide technical support, troubleshooting, and incident management
• Maintain, configure, and support system, network, applications, and infrastructure
• Manage classified and sensitive data in line with Australian security policies
• Support software releases, patches, upgrades, and system implementations
• Perform system auditing, metrics tracking, and continuous improvement reporting
• Execute backup, restore, and disaster recovery procedures (Oracle & MS SQL)
• Support mission planning/debriefing activities and deliver user training

Essential

• Tertiary qualification in IT or equivalent experience
• Strong experience in system administration, configuration, release, and incident management
• Excellent analytical and communication skill

Desirable Skills:

• Project environment experience
• Experience in Oracle and/or CompTIA Security+ and/or Network+
• Linux based training

About you:

We are seeking an experienced Systems Administration & Support Specialist to provide onsite technical support, system administration, and data management for ALIS, ODIN and MPSE operating environments. This role acts as the primary point of contact for users, delivering high-quality technical support, system configuration, troubleshooting, and security compliance in a mission-critical Defence environment.

This is an 18-month fixed term contract based in Williamtown, NSW

Special Requirements:

Applicants must be eligible to obtain and maintain an Australian Defence Security Clearance and employment may be contingent on the provision of further personal information including citizenship to ensure compliance with international export control legislation and regulations.
