Store Manager (ANZSCO ****** - Retail Manager)

Full-time/Permanent

$76,000 - $80,000 (salary will be commensurate to qualifications and experience)

Duties and responsibilities:

1. Recruit, train, manage and motivate staff to ensure efficiency and to increase sales
2. Create & implement internal sales and marketing strategies and lead the retail team towards achievement of sales objectives
3. Monitor market trends and sales and take corrective actions as required
4. Propose product range mix and manage a desirable range that meets sales budgets, margin targets, and customer expectations
5. Organise sales promotions and in-store events
6. Encourage staff to sell offerings by advising customers about products and undertaking suggestive selling
7. Ensure just-in-time stock refurbishment
8. Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual sales forecasts, as required
9. Analyse daily, weekly and monthly sales figures to ensure branch profitability
10. Fully responsible for P&L
11. Achieve financial objectives by preparing an annual budget; scheduling expenditures; analyzing variances; initiating corrective actions
12. Protect employees and customers by providing a safe and clean store environment
13. Ensure compliance with all health, safety and legal requirements

Qualifications and Experience:

1. Relevant AQF Diploma
2. 1 year of relevant experience is essential
