The gym caters to members of all skill levels, from beginners to elite athletes, and provides structured training programs, sparring sessions, and personal coaching in a supportive community environment.

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Sports Development Officer to support the growth of our training programs and community participation in combat sports and fitness activities.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Develop and implement sports participation programs to increase community engagement in boxing, kickboxing and Muay Thai.
  2. Plan and coordinate training programs for beginners, youth members and competitive athletes.
  3. Analyse athlete performance and assist coaches in improving training techniques and development pathways.
  4. Organise competitions, tournaments, training camps and community sporting events.
  5. Promote sports development initiatives to encourage participation from youth and local communities.
  6. Work with coaches and gym management to develop structured training pathways from beginner to competitive levels.
  7. Build partnerships with local sporting organisations, schools and community groups.
  8. Assist in recruiting and supporting coaching staff and volunteers.

Skills & Experience

  1. Qualification in Sports Development, Sports Management, Fitness or related field, or equivalent industry experience.
  2. Experience working in a sports organisation, gym, martial arts club or community sports program.
