Special Works / Site Manager - High-end Residential Projects - Vehicle Provided

One of Sydney’s leading architectural home builders is looking to appoint Special Works Manager. This is a newly created position offering stability, autonomy and a strong work life balance. It suits someone wanting a change of pace without stepping away from the quality work.

You might be a seasoned Carpenter or Site Manager looking for a more manageable role, or a younger, energetic candidate who enjoys problem solving and working directly with clients. You will work across some of Sydney’s most impressive architecturally designed homes, handling defects, small works and general client care.

You will be provided with a vehicle and will manage your own schedule, attending previously completed projects valued up to $25M, carrying out minor rectification works, coordinating trades and assessing upcoming maintenance needs.

Key responsibilities:

1. Complete minor rectification works and manage defect items
2. Coordinate subcontractors and schedule specialist trades
3. Manage client enquiries professionally and provide clear updates
4. Assess maintenance requests, troubleshoot issues and scope small works
5. Maintain records of works, timeframes and materials
6. Ensure all work is completed safely and to a high standard
7. Identify potential future works and report back to office

What we are looking for:

1. Experience in high end residential in Carpentry, Maintenance, Leading Hand or Site Management
2. Strong problem solving ability and confidence working independently
3. Professional communication and client facing skills
4. Solid construction knowledge and the ability to diagnose issues on site
5. Organised and reliable with strong attention to detail
6. Carpentry trade is preferred but not essential
