Our client, a reputable healthcare provider, is seeking an experienced Senior Social Worker (Grade 3) to join their dedicated team. This exciting new role offers the opportunity to lead and provide expert social work services to patients, ensuring comprehensive care and support.
As a Senior Social Worker, you will work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to address the social, emotional, and psychological needs of patients and their families who are living with cancer across the continuum of care. Your expertise will contribute to patient-centred care plans, improve health outcomes, and navigate complex social situations within the healthcare system.

Key Criteria
- Qualified Social Worker eligible for membership with the Australian Association of Social Workers
- Comprehensive knowledge and clinical experience across the continuum of care in Emergency Dept, acute palliative care and outpatients.
- Demonstrated experience in oncology service provision
- Able to build and manage professional relationships
- Leadership skills such as strong communication, interpersonal skills, conflict resolution and problem solving.
- Experience in training and mentoring clinical supervision of Social workers and students
