Tradewind is partnering with a well-regarded independent Christian school in Western Sydney to welcome a dedicated Secondary Science Teacher to their team. This is a permanent full-time position commencing in term 3 or as soon as practicable.
About the Role
As a valued member of this collaborative and supportive school community, you will:
- Teach Science across Years 7-10 using engaging and evidence-based teaching practices.
- Deliver Chemistry and/or Physics at the senior secondary level (Years 11-12).
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that supports student wellbeing and academic success.
- Differentiate learning to meet the diverse needs of students.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues, leadership, and families to support student outcomes.
- Contribute positively to the wider life and culture of the school.
Prerequisites:
- Current NESA accreditation (or eligibility to obtain).
- Bachelor's degree in Education or relevant teaching qualification.
- Demonstrated experience teaching Secondary Science.
- Ability to teach Chemistry and/or Physics at the senior level.
- Current Working with Children Check.
- Unrestricted working rights in Australia.
- Two professional referees from educational settings and a Christian church reference
