Salary: $80,000 - $90,000 plus 12% Superannuation

Our client, RPL MATRIX Pty Ltd provides Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) services and works with registered training organisations to convert real-world skills and experience into nationally recognised qualifications. The organisation offers remote, RPL-focused assessment and career support across a wide range of industry areas.

RPL MATRIX is seeking an energetic, target-driven Sales Representative to promote and sell educational products and services (including RPL packages, vocational programs and related training solutions) to employers, organisations and individual clients across NSW. The Sales Representative will identify and develop new business, maintain client relationships, and support the business’s growth targets by converting leads into sales.

Qualifications and Experience Requirements:

· Relevant qualification at the level of a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field or higher.

· At least two years of relevant work experience.

· Formal qualifications: bachelor degree or higher in business, education, sales, marketing or related discipline is desirable.

· Experience substitution: at least five years of relevant sales/industry experience may substitute for the formal qualification

· Minimum one-year proven sales experience, preferably selling educational products, training, RPL services or professional services.

· Experience working with or selling to registered training organisations (RTOs), HR, or workforce development teams is highly regarded.

· Demonstrable success meeting or exceeding sales targets and experience with consultative selling.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Compile prospect lists using directories, industry contacts and other sources.
  2. Research and maintain up-to-date knowledge of competitors’ offerings, market conditions and client training needs.

· Visit existing and prospective client businesses to establish selling opportunities and demonstrate products/services.

  1. Assess client needs and recommend appropriate RPL/educational solutions, preparing and presenting quotations.
  2. Quote and negotiate prices and payment/credit terms; complete contracts and record orders.
  3. Coordinate delivery of services with internal teams and partner RTOs; follow up to ensure client satisfaction.
  4. Monitor and report on customer feedback, market developments and competitor activity to management.
  5. Prepare sales reports, submit records of business expenses and maintain CRM entries.
  6. Follow up post-sale to resolve issues and encourage repeat business/referrals.
  7. Ensuring compliance with legal and ethical standards in marketing practices.

Skills & capabilities:

  1. Excellent verbal and written communication, presentation and negotiation skills.
  2. Strong relationship-building and stakeholder management skills.
  3. Commercial acumen and ability to interpret sales metrics and customer data.
  4. Self-motivated, well-organised, and able to manage a sales territory and pipeline independently.
