This full-time position is responsible for managing the overall operations, ensuring strong sales performance, effective staff supervision, stock control, and high customer service standards.

The successful candidate will be confident in leading a team, monitoring financial performance, and maintaining efficient retail operations in a busy and dynamic environment.

Responsibilities:

  1. Plan, organise, and control the day-to-day operations of the retail store to ensure smooth and efficient service delivery
  2. Monitor sales performance, establish revenue targets, and implement strategies to improve profitability

· Determine product mix, stock levels, and inventory requirements to meet customer demand and maximise sales opportunities

  1. Manage purchasing, pricing, stock levels, and inventory systems to maintain optimal stock availability
  2. Analyse sales reports, margins, and financial data to identify trends and improve business outcomes
  3. Recruit, train, supervise, and roster retail staff to maintain productivity and service standards
  4. Ensure high levels of customer service, addressing enquiries and resolving complaints

  1. Oversee merchandising, promotional displays, and store presentation to maximise sales opportunities
  2. Ensure compliance with company policies, Australian Consumer Law, and workplace health and safety requirements

Required Skills & Experience

At least 3 years’ experience in a retail supervisory or management role

  1. Relevant qualification in Retail Management, Business, or related discipline (or equivalent industry experience)
  2. Strong leadership and team management skills
  3. Demonstrated ability to manage sales targets, budgets, and financial reporting
  4. Sound understanding of stock control, purchasing, and inventory management systems
  5. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  6. Ability to manage competing priorities in a retail environment
