We are currently seeking an experienced and motivated Retail Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our Sunbury restaurant.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the daily operations of the Nando’s Sunbury restaurant to ensure service standards, sales targets and operational requirements are met.
- Determine and maintain appropriate stock levels, product availability and service standards in line with customer demand and business requirements.
- Monitor inventory, coordinate stock orders and manage supplier-related processes to minimise waste and maintain efficient operations.
- Monitor sales, labour costs and operating expenses, and assist with budgeting, payroll and financial performance reporting.
- Develop and implement local marketing initiatives, promotional activities and customer engagement strategies to support business growth.
- Recruit, train, supervise and develop restaurant staff to ensure performance, productivity and customer service standards are maintained.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, food safety standards, workplace health and safety requirements and other relevant regulations.
- Address customer enquiries, complaints and feedback in a timely and professional manner.
- Review operational procedures, audit results and performance reports to identify areas for improvement and maintain consistent business standards.
Skills and Qualifications Required
- Diploma in Management, Business, Hospitality Management or a related field. Relevant work experience may be considered in lieu of formal qualifications.
- Proven experience in a retail, hospitality or restaurant management role
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Sound understanding of inventory control, budgeting and cost management
- Knowledge of food safety and workplace health and safety requirements
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Strong problem-solving and organisational abilities
- Commercial awareness and the ability to analyse sales and operational data
