Regents Park Market is a well-established, family-owned fresh food and grocery retailer serving the local community with quality fruit, vegetables, groceries, deli products, herbs, spices, and specialty food items. We are seeking an experienced and motivated Retail Manager to lead our team and oversee the day-to-day operations of our busy retail store.

Key Responsibilities

1. Manage and coordinate the daily operations of the store.
2. Lead, supervise, train, and motivate retail staff.
3. Monitor stock levels, ordering, inventory control, and merchandising.
4. Ensure exceptional customer service standards are maintained.
5. Develop and implement sales and promotional strategies.
6. Manage store budgets, sales performance, and operational targets.
7. Resolve customer enquiries and complaints professionally.
8. Ensure compliance with workplace health and safety regulations.
9. Prepare operational reports and maintain accurate business records.
10. Maintain high standards of store presentation and cleanliness.

Skills and Experience

1. Relevant qualification in Retail Management, Business, Management, or a related field; or
2. Minimum one year of relevant retail management experience.
3. Strong leadership and team management abilities.
4. Excellent communication and customer service skills.
5. Experience in stock control, merchandising, and retail operations.
6. Ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment.
7. Strong organisational and problem-solving skills.
