The iconic Lobster Shack in Cervantes is seeking an experienced Restaurant & Operations Manager to join our leadership team at one of Western Australia’s most loved coastal dining destinations.
Located just over two hours north of Perth, The Lobster Shack is an award‑winning, high‑volume restaurant renowned for fresh local seafood, exceptional guest experiences, and a fast‑paced, professional service environment.
The Role
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Restaurant & Operations Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our busy venue. This role is responsible for managing both front-of-house and back-of-house operations while delivering outstanding customer experiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily restaurant operations, including service, staffing, and workflow coordination
- Oversee food quality, presentation, and compliance with food safety standards
- Lead, train, and supervise staff across front-of-house and kitchen teams
- Manage rostering, labour costs, and operational budgets
- Ensure compliance with Workplace Health & Safety (WHS) requirements
- Monitor stock levels, ordering, and supplier relationships
- Deliver exceptional customer service and handle complaints professionally
- Drive business performance, efficiency, and continuous improvement initiatives
Skills & Experience
- Proven experience as a Restaurant Manager or Operations Manager
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Excellent communication and organisational abilities
- Experience managing high-volume service environments
- Knowledge of food safety and WHS regulations
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays
Salary
Annual salary range: $76,500 – $90,000 plus superannuation, depending on experience.
