An exciting opportunity exists to join Victim Assist Queensland on a temporary flexible full-time basis as an A08 Relationship Manager.

The Relationship Manager, Escalation Review role sits within the Strategy and Engagement Division within Victim Assist. The team consists of a Team Leader (A07), two Senior Liaison Officers (A06), and two Senior Review Officers (A06).

The Relationship Manager is a critical leadership role within VAQ, reporting to the Director of Strategy and Engagement. This position is designed to strengthen stakeholder engagement, streamline operations, and address systemic challenges within the victim support sector. The Relationship Manager serves as a centralised point of contact for victim advocacy groups, oversees the Escalation Review Team, and works closely with the Office of the Victims Commissioner to ensure effective management of complaints and systemic issues. By fostering collaboration, reducing administrative burdens, and promoting robust decision-making for Senior Review Officers, the Relationship Manager plays a vital role in maintaining trust and confidence in VAQ's ability to support victims and their advocates.

You will oversee and provide advice on complex decisions that can be externally reviewed by the Queensland Civil and Administration Tribunal (QCAT).
