Location: Clyde North, VIC 3978
Tenure: Full-time, Permanent
Comprehensive salary package from $76,515 pa (plus superannuation)
Required Skills and Experience:
• Applicants must have current AHPRA registration and a Victorian Radiation Use License.
• Bachelor degree in Medical Imaging or relevant equivalent
• At least 2 years of recent and relevant work experience
• Ability to work collaboratively well with patients, other health professionals and support staff.
• Strong communication skills and patient focused approach
• Ability to work independently
• Competency in general Radiography essential
Position Summary:
On behalf of our client, Global Skilled Employment Services is looking for a skilled and experienced Radiographer who can provide high-quality diagnostic imaging services and accurate medical interpretations to support patient diagnosis and treatment. The successful candidate will be responsible for analysing imaging results, preparing detailed reports, and collaborating with medical practitioners and healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient care.
The role requires strong clinical expertise in radiology procedures including X-ray, CT, MRI, ultrasound, and other diagnostic imaging modalities, as well as a commitment to maintaining professional standards, patient safety, and confidentiality. The ideal candidate should possess excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
Duties and responsibilities:
• Conduct and interpret diagnostic imaging examinations including X-rays, CT scans, MRI, ultrasound, and other imaging procedures
• Provide accurate and timely radiology reports
• Collaborate with referring doctors and healthcare professionals regarding patient diagnosis and treatment
• Ensure compliance with medical standards, protocols, and patient safety requirements
• Participate in quality assurance and continuous improvement activities
