  2. Services corporate offices, medical centres, dental clinics, schools, childcare centres, gyms, hospitality venues, retail sites, warehouses, logistics facilities, industrial premises, aged-care facilities and disability support providers.

Position Overview

Rapid Hygiene is seeking a Quality Assurance Manager to plan, organise, direct, control and coordinate the company’s quality assurance systems across its Perth and Sydney operations.

This is a managerial quality systems role. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining quality frameworks, service standards, audit systems, operating procedures, compliance checks, corrective action processes and continuous improvement initiatives across the business. The role will ensure that hygiene equipment, consumables, servicing schedules, technician practices, supplier standards, client reporting and workplace hygiene outcomes meet Rapid Hygiene’s internal quality requirements and the expectations of its corporate, health, education, aged-care, hospitality, retail and industrial clients.

The role is central to protecting the health and safety of workplace populations and public users who rely on Rapid Hygiene’s systems in shared washrooms, clinics, offices, schools, hospitality venues, warehouses and other high-use environments.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

The Quality Assurance Manager will be responsible for:

  1. Planning, organising, directing, controlling and coordinating the deployment of Rapid Hygiene’s quality assurance systems across Perth and Sydney operations.
  2. Developing, implementing and reviewing quality policies, service standards, operating procedures, audit checklists and work instructions for hygiene equipment installation, servicing, maintenance, refilling, replacement and disposal processes.
  3. Establishing quality controls for the installation and ongoing servicing of sanitary bins, nappy disposal units, incontinence disposal units, hand sanitiser stations, soap dispensers, hand towel dispensers, air fresheners, odour control systems, toilet and urinal sanitisers, urinal mats, toilet seat sanitisers, paper systems, surface sanitiser units, air purification systems, medical/sharps units and related hygiene equipment.
  4. Conducting and coordinating quality audits of service routes, client sites, technician practices, warehouse processes, equipment condition, consumable stock, replacement schedules and completed service records.
  5. Ensuring that Rapid Hygiene’s operational procedures support workplace health, hygiene, safety, infection control, waste handling, chemical handling, environmental responsibility and customer compliance requirements.
  6. Identifying formal standards, regulatory requirements, client specifications, product requirements and internal benchmarks relevant to Rapid Hygiene’s hygiene services and ensuring that these are reflected in operating procedures and staff practices.
  7. Reviewing service data, customer feedback, missed-service reports, equipment faults, consumable usage, complaint trends, incident reports and non-conformance records to identify quality risks and areas for improvement.
  8. Implementing quality tools, reporting systems and performance indicators to monitor service quality, technician compliance, equipment reliability, stock accuracy, response times, replacement cycles and client satisfaction.
  9. Investigating service failures, hygiene incidents, equipment faults, customer complaints and non-conformances, and implementing corrective and preventative actions.
  10. Liaising with suppliers, manufacturers and service providers to ensure hygiene equipment, consumables, chemicals, liners, pods, paper products and replacement components meet Rapid Hygiene’s quality, safety and performance specifications.
  11. Supporting the development of quality documentation for corporate, medical, education, aged-care, hospitality, retail, industrial and logistics clients, including service standards, compliance evidence and quality reporting.
  12. Training and guiding service technicians, warehouse staff, sales staff and administration staff on quality procedures, safe servicing methods, equipment handling, documentation requirements, client service standards and continuous improvement practices.
  13. Assisting management to develop objectives, strategies and operational plans aimed at improving customer satisfaction, increasing service reliability, reducing waste, improving equipment performance and maximising efficient use of business resources.
  14. Providing regular reports to senior management on quality performance, audit findings, client feedback, risk areas, corrective actions, process improvements and the effectiveness of the quality management system.
  15. Promoting a culture of accountability, consistency, hygiene excellence and continuous improvement across the Perth and Sydney teams.

Skills and Experience Required

The successful applicant should have:

  1. A bachelor’s degree or higher qualification in quality management, business, science, health, engineering, environmental management, workplace health and safety, operations management or a closely related field.
  2. Demonstrated experience in quality assurance, quality systems, compliance, service operations or business improvement.
  3. Strong understanding of quality audits, operating procedures, corrective actions, process improvement and customer service performance monitoring.
  4. Experience in hygiene services, healthcare services, facilities services, waste services, manufacturing, logistics, maintenance, technical services or another regulated service environment will be highly regarded.
  5. Ability to manage quality systems across multiple operational sites and service teams.
  6. Strong written communication skills, including the ability to prepare procedures, audit reports, management reports and client-facing quality documentation.
  7. Strong analytical ability and confidence using service data, complaints, audit results and operational records to identify trends and improve business performance.
  8. Ability to work with technicians, suppliers, managers and clients to achieve consistent quality outcomes.
