Product Support Officer with Local Council | 2-month contract | Based in Brisbane

Join a local council as a Product Support Officer responsible for delivering high-quality, customer-focused business support and correspondence services that enable the team to achieve organisational objectives and deliver positive outcomes for the community.
Your new role
In this role, your responsibilities will include: Deliver high-quality, customer-focused administrative and business support, acting as a key interface between operational teams and customer service areas.
Respond to service requests, enquiries, and complaints from internal and external stakeholders, proactively resolving issues and enhancing the customer experience.
Prepare, track, and manage quotes, estimates, work orders, and job files, ensuring all systems and records are accurate and up to date.
Support planning and scheduling of operations, including requisitioning materials and equipment using relevant information systems.
Assist with invoice processing, billing accuracy, and timely authorisations to ensure financial and operational efficiency.
Contribute to continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to enhance service delivery, while maintaining high standards of administrative support and team collaboration.
What you'll need to succeed
Strong computer literacy and administrative experience, with the ability to efficiently manage data entry, documentation, and reporting tasks.
Excellent communication and customer service skills, with the ability to engage professionally with internal and external stakeholders.
Demonstrated problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify issues and contribute to service improvement initiatives.
High-level organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Experience supporting operational teams, including coordinating administrative activities, requisitioning materials, and liaising with customer service functions.
Experience with SAP and SAP Ariba is highly desirable
