The business is currently seeking a Procurement Specialist to join the team, responsible mainly for evaluating and improvising procurement processes and ensuring supplier compliance with quality and sustainability standards.

Key Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
·Collect, review and evaluate data related to procurement processes, inventory control, and supplier performance to identify gaps and enhance operational efficiency in sourcing fresh ingredients and produce.
·Develop procurement performance reports, dashboards and KPI summaries covering supplier reliability, delivery performance, stock availability, pricing movements, product quality and procurement compliance.
·Review existing procurement processes, ordering practices and supplier arrangements, and recommend practical strategies to improve cost efficiency, purchasing accuracy, operational consistency and maintaining high quality standards
·Maintain and improve procurement-related data systems, templates and approval workflows, including quote requests, supplier onboarding forms, ordering records and management sign-off processes.
·Use data management techniques to oversee procurement tasks, ensuring strict adherence to delivery schedules, and product quality standards.
·Assist in developing vendor risk and continuity plans by identifying high-risk supply items, backup supplier options, safety stock requirements and response steps for supply disruptions.
·Ensure all procurement activities comply with internal policies and industry regulations, particularly in terms of supplier management and food safety standards.
·Coordinate with operations, store and quality teams to investigate recurring product or supply issues, document findings and recommend corrective actions to improve supplier performance and product consistency.
·Report regularly to management, providing updates on procurement performance, highlighting areas for improvement in supplier relationships and inventory management.
·Identify opportunities for process enhancements in the procurement function, aiming to boost efficiency, reduce costs, and maintain high-quality standards.
·Maintain comprehensive and accurate records related to procurement and supply chain activities, ensuring reliable data for strategic decision-making.
