Process Engineer – Full Time

CROSBIE NATIONAL CEMENT PTY LIMITED is seeking a full-time Process Engineer to join our Seven Hills production facility.

Reporting to the Operations Manager, the Process Engineer will ensure product compliance with all regulatory demands and support efficient operations of the Seven Hills production facility. This includes the development and implementation of production efficiency and continuous improvement opportunities on site.

Key Responsibilities

·Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities to improve OEE, reduce cycle time and lower manufacturing costs while maintaining quality.

·Provide solutions and assistance in the event of machinery fault or breakdown.

·Development and communication of site performance metrics, including weekly and monthly production scorecards and targets, to the production team.

·Develop manual process for ordering, cycle counts and stock accuracy of raw materials, additives, and packaging to ensure ERP system is reliable.

·Identify areas within Operations for profit improvement.

·Support prompt investigation and rectification of non-conforming batches and product, raw materials, and packaging.

·Identify and manage waste reduction opportunities.

·Initiate, develop and manage capital projects for equipment and system improvements

·Scheduling of the Maintenance Plan including preventative maintenance, work requests and Corrective Work Orders.

Essential Requirements

·Engineering qualification or equivalent.

·At least one-year relevant experience

·Knowledge in production management tools.

·Hands-on approach to support all facets of the Operations Team.

·Possess superior fault-finding skills by being collaborative, creative, and analytical.

·Ability to prioritise duties and act in a prompt manner

·Physically fit to perform field duties including lifting 25kg bags.

·Well-developed verbal and written communication skills in English.

Desirable Qualifications / Attributes

·Lean or Six Sigma qualifications.

·Problem Solving Techniques, for example Kepner Tregoe.
