Seeking a creative communication professional to deliver engaging digital content, support events and promote the Governor’s work across Queensland.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING IN THE ROLE

  1. Lead project teams and manage activities to ensure outputs satisfy office standardsf or integrity, accuracy and timeliness based on quality principles and methodologies.
  2. Provide technical advice and support to statisticians on statistical survey processes, analysis and reporting.
  3. Provide statistical analysis and advice to clients and senior officers, including undertaking high level statistical analysis and providing advice on a broad range of statistical matters.
  4. Undertake high level research, analysis and review of issues and provide recommendations.
  5. Liaise with a range of clients including local, commonwealth and state government agencies, academic institutions, private sector organisations and the public

WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THE ROLE

  1. Demonstrate experience in leading teams, projects and official client-funded surveys
  2. Strong knowledge of a broad range of statistical survey methodologies
  3. Experience working with, or the ability to work effectively with, statisticians who use the statistical software application R to clean, process and analyse structured and unstructured data
  4. Agility and adaptability in responding to changing requirements and priorities that may affect timelines, costs, resourcing, processes and outputs
  5. A strong client focus, with a pragmatic approach to negotiation and achieving outcomes that meet the needs of both QGSO and its clients.
