Operator / Belt Picker

Based at our InfraBuild Recycling Port Adelaide site, we are seeking multiple Operators / Pickers who will be responsible for general yard hand labouring duties and picking and sorting of scrap metal from the conveyor. 

What you will be doing:

• Pick and sort scrap metals from conveyor belt
• Remove contaminants to maintain the quality of materials

• Monitor the conveyor belt speed and functionality
• Notify maintenance or supervisors of any mechanical issues

• Adhere to workplace safety procedures
• Maintain cleanliness in the yard and operational areas

Hours – 9am – 5pm, Monday to Friday plus overtime as required during the week and on Saturdays

Pay rate - $32.74 per hour plus super

• Ability to learn how to quickly and accurately identify different types of metal
• Experience in scrap recycling, construction or manufacturing, advantageous
