Position Purpose
The Office Manager is a full-time permanent role responsible for organising, coordinating and controlling the functions and resources of the office to ensure efficient and effective business operations. The role oversees administrative systems, office personnel, records management, resource allocation, compliance requirements, and office services, while supporting organisational objectives through the delivery of high-quality administrative and operational support.
The role contributes directly to operational efficiency, customer satisfaction, and the consistent delivery of high-quality painting services across a variety of projects and work environments.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
• Assist in planning, reviewing and improving office administration processes and service standards to support owner’s corporation and facilities management operations.
• Allocate and coordinate office resources, including staff, equipment and administrative systems, to ensure efficient business operations.
• Assign, monitor and support the work of administrative staff to maintain service quality and operational efficiency.
• Manage office records, correspondence, contracts, invoices and administrative documentation.
• Liaise with Strata Managers, Facilities Managers, contractors and service providers to coordinate operations and resolve issues.
• Oversee office facilities, equipment and systems to ensure they are maintained and function effectively.
• Ensure compliance with workplace health and safety requirements, company policies and relevant legislation.
• Coordinate recruitment, onboarding, payroll administration, staff training, performance management and supervision.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience
• AQF associate degree, Advanced Diploma or Diploma plus a minimum of 1 year of experience in the related job field or
• At least 3 years of equivalent experience may be suitable for formal qualification
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
• Strong leadership and organisational skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and business administration systems.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently.
Salary: $75,000 – $95,000 per annum + Superannuation
