Nurseryperson – Virginia SA 5120

Vo Co Fresh Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced and motivated Nurseryperson to join our horticulture operations in Virginia, South Australia.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Propagate plants through seed sowing, cuttings, grafting and transplanting.
2. Prepare potting mixes and growing media.
3. Monitor plant health and growth throughout production cycles.
4. Implement irrigation, fertiliser and crop nutrition programs.
5. Identify and assist in the control of pests, diseases and weeds.
6. Maintain nursery stock quality and production schedules.
7. Grade, label, prepare and dispatch plants for sale and distribution.
8. Operate nursery equipment and machinery safely.
9. Maintain accurate production records.
10. Follow workplace health and safety procedures at all times.

Requirements:

1. Relevant horticulture qualification or at least 2 years of relevant nursery experience.
2. Knowledge of plant propagation and nursery production practices.
3. Experience working in commercial nursery, greenhouse or horticulture environments.
4. Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
5. Good communication and teamwork skills.
6. Ability to perform physically demanding work.
