Key Responsibilities
- Monitor, analyse, and maintain network infrastructure to ensure optimal performance and availability.
- Identify, investigate, and resolve network faults, outages, and connectivity issues.
- Analyse network traffic and performance data to recommend improvements.
- Configure and support routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless networks.
- Assist in the implementation of network upgrades, enhancements, and security measures.
- Monitor network security and respond to potential threats and vulnerabilities.
- Prepare network performance reports and technical documentation.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to support business operations.
- Ensure compliance with organisational IT policies and industry best practices.
- Provide technical support and guidance regarding network-related matters.
Skills & Experience
- Bachelor's degree or higher qualification in Information Technology, Network Engineering, Telecommunications, or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in network administration, network analysis, or a similar role.
- Strong understanding of LAN/WAN technologies, TCP/IP, routing, switching, and network protocols.
- Experience with network monitoring and diagnostic tools.
- Knowledge of network security principles and firewall technologies.
- Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and documentation abilities.
