Due to increased customer demand, we are seeking a skilled and qualified Motor Mechanic to join our team.
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose mechanical and electronic faults in petrol and diesel engines, transmissions, steering, suspension, braking systems, and electrical components.
- Perform routine servicing, including oil changes, filter replacements, fluid top-ups, and safety checks.
- Repair or replace worn or defective parts such as belts, hoses, brake pads, alternators, starters, and clutch assemblies.
- Conduct vehicle inspections and prepare roadworthy certificates (if licensed).
- Use diagnostic scanning tools and workshop equipment to identify system faults.
- Test drive vehicles to ensure proper mechanical function post-repair.
- Maintain a clean and safe workshop environment, complying with WHS standards.
- Liaise with customers regarding repair estimates and vehicle readiness.
Skills and Experience Required
- Qualification: Certificate III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology or equivalent (AQF qualification or recognized overseas equivalent).
- Licence: Valid Australian driver’s licence (manual and automatic).
- Experience: Minimum 1 years of post-qualification experience as a Motor Mechanic
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good English communication skills..
