Motor Mechanic

OC Car Pty Ltd, one of Australia's largest and most innovative used car retailers, is seeking an experienced Motor Mechanic for their Ozcar Rutherford workshop.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Diagnose faults in motor vehicles
2. Discuss problems with drivers to discover faults
3. Dismantle or remove engine assemblies, transmissions, steering mechanisms or other components, and checks parts
4. Repair or replace worn or defective parts, and reassemble mechanical components
5. Test and adjust repaired sub-assemblies, and re-install them
6. Tune engines to achieve smoother running and ensure compliance with pollution regulations
7. Re-line and adjust brakes
8. Change oil and filters, and lubricate vehicles or fuelled motor appliances
9. Inspect and service emission control systems and petrol fuel systems
10. Repair steering systems, suspension systems and hydraulic braking systems
11. Carry out service operations and diagnostic procedures

Experience Required: Relevant experience in a similar field.

GOOD SALARY PACKAGE ($80,000 + Super)
