We offer professional car servicing, maintenance, and repairs in Geelong. We specialize in brake and clutch repairs, battery and tire services, and comprehensive auto maintenance for vehicles of all makes and models. We are looking for qualified and skilled Motor Mechanic to join our team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining mechanical components of motor vehicles, including engines, transmissions, suspension systems, and brakes.
- Inspecting vehicle systems and components to detect and address wear and tear, electrical faults, or mechanical problems.
- Performing routine maintenance tasks, such as oil changes, fluid checks, and filter replacements.
- Disassembling and reassembling vehicle parts to carry out major overhauls or repair work.
- Inspecting and testing vehicle systems and equipment using diagnostic tools to identify issues to locate damage or worn parts.
- Providing accurate repair assessments, undertaking minor repairs to major collision restoration
- Ensuring all repairs adhere to manufacturer specifications and comply with safety standards.
- Providing accurate estimates for the time and materials required to complete repairs.
- Undertaking detail work required to achieve roadworthiness.
- Stay up to date with automotive technology and repair techniques.
- Monitor inventory and stock requirements.
- Use technical manuals and guidelines to perform repairs and ensure that all work adheres to the latest industry standards.
Qualifications, Experience and Skills Required:
- Possession of Certificate III/IV in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology or equivalent.
- Atleast 1 year of experience as a Motor Mechanic
- Comprehensive understanding of automotive systems and components.
- Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and workshop equipment.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex automotive issues.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety standards.
- Good communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Outstanding problem-solving abilities and meticulous attention to detail.
