Job description:
We are looking for a full-time qualified Motor Mechanic at All Car Care Centre, Delacombe with a minimum of 1-year full-time experience. You will be required to undertake the following duties.
- Diagnosis of automotive vehicles (various makes and models).
- Ability to figure out the fault, repair and provide the best possible solution
- Mechanical repairs include periodic servicing, brake repair, clutches, and timing belt repair/replacement on different makes and models.
- Inspect and run diagnostic tests to discover functional issues.
- Dismantle and replace or repair the defective part or equipment.
- Change engine and transmission oils.
- Conduct quality checks before returning vehicles.
- Roadworthy Testing
- Adhere to and follow work safety guidelines, report any hazards, and perform general housekeeping and workshop maintenance.
- Train other workshop staff.
Skills and Qualifications
· Australian Qualifications
· Certificate III/IV + Diploma in Automotive technology
· Ability to work independently and unsupervised
· Great attention to detail
We are looking for someone reliable, self-motivated, efficient, and with good work ethic. Current driver's license is a must any additional licenses would be an advantage.

Pay: $77000-$80000 per year (plus superannuation)
Schedule: Mon – Fri 8hour shifts
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Delacombe, VIC 3356: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
Education:
- Certificate III in Light vehicle technology
- Certificate IV in Automotive mechanical diagnosis
- Diploma of Automotive technology
Experience:
- Full time: Minimum of 1 year (essential)
License/Certification:
- Australian driver's license (Required)
