About the Business
Cameo Inn Motel is a well-established hospitality and accommodation provider committed to delivering quality guest experiences, professional customer service, and comfortable accommodation facilities. We pride ourselves on maintaining high operational standards across all areas of the motel, including guest services, housekeeping, food and beverage operations, and property maintenance.
We are currently seeking an experienced and motivated Motel Manager to lead and oversee the day-to-day operations of our motel and ensure the smooth and efficient management of all departments.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the daily operations of the motel, including front office, housekeeping, maintenance, restaurant, and bar operations
- Lead, recruit, train, supervise, and performance-manage motel staff to maintain high service standards
- Manage room reservations, guest check-ins/check-outs, customer enquiries, and guest relations professionally
- Develop and implement operational procedures, customer service standards, and workplace policies
- Monitor occupancy levels, pricing strategies, and operational performance to maximise profitability and guest satisfaction
- Prepare and manage operational budgets, revenue reports, occupancy statistics, and financial summaries
- Manage purchasing, supplier relationships, stock control, and inventory across motel departments
- Ensure compliance with Workplace Health & Safety (WHS) legislation, food safety requirements, and liquor licensing regulations
- Handle guest complaints, disputes, and escalated matters promptly and professionally
- Coordinate property maintenance, repairs, and preventative maintenance schedules to ensure the motel is maintained to a high standard
- Liaise with local tourism operators, travel agencies, and corporate clients to increase bookings and business opportunities
- Ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for guests, visitors, and staff at all times

Qualifications & Experience
- Relevant qualification in Hospitality Management, Hotel Management, Business, or a related field
- Minimum 1 year of relevant full-time work experience in motel, hotel, or hospitality management is required
- Previous supervisory or management experience within the accommodation or hospitality industry will be highly regarded
