We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Mixed Production Farm Worker to support daily farm operations across aquaculture, cropping, and livestock activities.
Location: Burren Junction, NSW 2386
Employment Type: Full-Time
Salary Range: $75,000 – $85,000 + Super (depending on experience)
Key Duties:
· Carry out regular checks on crops and livestock, identifying any issues and reporting them as required
· Use farm equipment and machinery to support activities such as soil preparation, planting, crop treatment, and harvesting
· Assist in the upkeep of farm facilities, including cleaning and maintaining sheds, fencing, irrigation systems, and other infrastructure
· Handle and transport farming inputs such as seeds, fertilisers, and animal feed, as well as preparing produce for dispatch
· Monitor and manage irrigation and water distribution systems to ensure optimal crop growth
· Provide daily care to livestock, including feeding, watering, and supporting feeding schedules
· Assist in maintaining animal health and general welfare through routine care and observation
· Support the movement of livestock between paddocks and operational areas to ensure proper grazing and farm workflow
· Contribute to the smooth day-to-day running of mixed farming operations across aquaculture, crops, and livestock.
Skills & Requirements
· Previous experience of one year in farming, agriculture, or related field preferred
· Ability to operate basic farm machinery and equipment
· Understanding of livestock handling and crop production processes
· Physically fit and able to work in outdoor environments
· Strong work ethic and ability to work independently and in a team
· Basic understanding of farm safety and biosecurity practices
