Metal Machinist (First Class)

Tidal Solutions Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced Metal Machinist (First Class) to join our team in Point Samson, Western Australia, supporting mining maintenance and workshop operations.

Key Duties:

1. Operate and maintain workshop machinery and precision tools used in metal machining and component refurbishment
2. Read and interpret technical drawings and engineering specifications
3. Manufacture, modify and repair metal components to required tolerances
4. Carry out precision measurements using verniers, micrometers and measuring instruments
5. Perform fitting, alignment and assembly of machined components
6. Assist with overhaul and refurbishment of mining equipment components
7. Conduct machining and fabrication work in support of mining maintenance operations
8. Inspect finished components to ensure compliance with specifications and tolerances

Requirements:

1. Relevant trade qualification or equivalent experience
2. Experience in machining, fabrication and mining maintenance environments
3. Ability to read engineering drawings and work to precise tolerances
4. Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety

3. Salary: Starting from $95,000 plus superannuation
