As a Mechanical Engineer, you will design and optimize mechanical systems within a steel fabrication environment. You will plan and oversee the installation, operation, and maintenance of mechanical equipment used in steel processing, ensuring efficiency, safety, and compliance with industry standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Designing mechanical equipment, machines, components, and systems for steel processing, fabrication and structural applications
- Conducting research and analysis to determine design feasibility, efficiency, and performance
- Preparing and interpreting engineering drawings, plans, and specifications
- Overseeing manufacturing, installation, and commissioning of mechanical systems
- Diagnosing faults and implementing maintenance and repair solutions
- Ensuring compliance with safety regulations, quality standards, and engineering best practices

- Evaluating plant performance and recommending improvements

Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical engineering or equivalent qualification
- Minimum 1 year experience in steel, fabrication, manufacturing, or heavy industry environments preferred
- Proficiency in CAD and engineering analysis tools
- Strong technical, analytical, and problem-solving abilities
- Effective communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work both independently and within a fast-paced production environment
