Mechanical Design Engineer (Minerals Processing Design)
Location: Gold Coast, QLD
Salary: $135,000-$165,000 + super
Key benefit: Mid-level to senior design focus
Key essential requirement: proven experience in hands-on mechanical design
Role Opportunity
Join a specialist engineering team delivering mechanical design for minerals processing systems. This is a hands-on design role focused on wet and dry plant mineral separation, slurry pumping and associated process equipment, predominantly office-based with travel varying by project cycle.

Essential Qualifications & Skills
- 5-10 years mechanical design experience
- Minerals processing equipment exposure
- Competent with standard CAD tools
- Strong Microsoft Office capability
- Pump selection knowledge advantageous
Duties & Responsibilities
- Design wet and dry plant systems
- Develop slurry pumping equipment layouts
- Select pumps for slurry services
- Produce drawings and design documentation
- Support projects through design cycle
