About the role

This is a rare opportunity to step into a senior local area marketing role within a large, fast-paced retail business operating across Australia and New Zealand.

Reporting directly into the head of the department, you’ll own the end-to-end local area marketing strategy, ensuring national campaigns are translated into effective, locally relevant activity that drives sales, customer growth and brand consistency.

You’ll work closely with franchise partners and internal stakeholders, acting as a true marketing partner; balancing brand, activation, media, CRM and digital to deliver practical, high-impact outcomes on the ground.

What you’ll be doing

  1. Lead the planning and execution of the ANZ local area marketing calendar
  2. Translate national campaigns into effective local activations across online and offline channels
  3. Build marketing tools, guidelines and training resources to support franchise partners
  4. Own the development and ongoing improvement of the local area marketing portal
  5. Partner with franchisees to develop creative, media strategy and execution tailored to their market
  6. Manage print and local campaign activity, working with third-party suppliers across ANZ
  7. Analyse campaign performance with data and analytics teams, providing clear recommendations
  8. Build trusted relationships with franchise partners to support sales and customer growth

What you’ll bring

  1. Preferably a degree in Marketing or a related discipline
  2. 5+ years’ experience across brand, campaigns or activation marketing
  3. Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and educate
  4. Experience working in fast-moving, multi-stakeholder environments
  5. Confidence managing budgets, timelines and external suppliers
  6. A practical, solutions-focused mindset with strong attention to detail
  7. Experience in franchise or multi-site retail environments (highly regarded, not essential)
