Territory Traffic Management Pty Ltd is a locally and operated business of the

Northern Territory, having depots in both the Katherine and Alice Springs Regions.

Our management team offers over 12 years’ experience within the civil construction

sector. Our experience gives us an extensive insight into the road environments and

road authority requirements.

Currently, Territory Traffic Management Pty Ltd looking for experienced Linemarker.

Salary: $65000 - $85000

We are seeking an experienced Linemarker who offers the following:

 Work under limited supervision and provides guidance to other team members when

required.

 Linemaking machine operation and removal/griding of linemarkings.

 Setting out of works and placement of preformed thermoplastics symbols and

markings.

 Drive and/or operate one of the current Rural Linemarking Services fleet of line

marking.

machines to an acceptable standard.

 Operate a light vehicle or rigid truck as part of a mobile traffic control configuration

to provide protection for other team members on high speed, high traffic volume

roads.

 Assist other team members in the maintenance, set-up, pack-up and de-canting for

the line marking machine and follow company HSEQ procedures.

 Assist the Work Supervisor and Team Leader in the application of all quality, safety

and environmental processes to ensure the relevant Roads and Maritime Services policies

are met.

 Ad-hoc duties as assigned.

Other Duties such as :

 Control road users to avoid conflict with plant, workers, traffic, and pedestrians.

 Enabling works at the site to be conducted safely by minimizing the risk associated

with traffic movement.

 Ensure plant/equipment is used only for its intended/manufactured use

 Ensure the appropriate licenses have been obtained before operating plant/equipment

e.g. forklift, truckand some more regarding traffic management.

 Might have to ensure duties of traffic controller.

The successful candidate must:

 Possession of Construction Industry Certification (White Card) and Traffic

Controllers Tickets (Blue and Yellow Tickets).

 Experienced linemaker with more than 2 years of experience.

 Ability to work as a member of a team.

 Ability to work in close proximity to traffic.

 Ability to effectively communicate with members of the public, external providers,

and staff at all levels in both oral and written form.

 Ability and willingness to undertake labouring tasks.

 Ability and willingness to acquire certification for other relevant machinery as

required.

 It is a prerequisite that applicants possess a current motor vehicle driver licence.

The successful applicant may be required to work outside normal working hours or to travel

on occasion.

The successful applicant will be required to undergo relevant security and criminal records

check prior to appointment.
