The Role
As our new Automotive Technician, you’ll be responsible for:
- Diagnosing and troubleshooting issues across all vehicle systems – including brakes, engines, transmissions, and electrical components
- Carrying out routine maintenance (oil changes, tyre rotations, fluid flushes)
- Repairing and replacing faulty parts to restore peak vehicle performance
- Accurately documenting work performed and maintaining job records
- Communicating clearly with clients and delivering excellent customer service
- Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised workspace, following all OH&S guidelines
About You
We’re looking for someone who brings:
- Proven experience in diagnosing and repairing mechanical and electrical issues
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality work
- Great communication skills and a collaborative attitude
- A current Australian driver’s licence
- A recognised Trade Qualification in Automotive Technology
- The ability to work independently while contributing to the team
Bonus Skills (not essential):
- QLD Safety Certificate accreditation
- Auto Electrical trade qualifications
- MR licence
