Your new company
This role plays a critical role in delivering complex defence capability outcomes. Due to an increased workload, an opportunity has arisen for a motivated Commercial Officer to join a high-performing team supporting procurement and project delivery activities.
Your new role
As an APS Level 2 Commercial Officer, you will support commercial and procurement activities within a defence environment, while also providing general project management and coordination support. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys variety and is comfortable working across both commercial and project functions.
- Supporting defence procurement activities in line with Commonwealth policies and frameworks
- Assisting with contract administration and commercial documentation
- Coordinating project tasks, schedules, and reporting activities
- Liaising with internal stakeholders and external suppliers
- Maintaining accurate records and supporting governance requirements
- Providing general administrative and project support as required
What you'll need to succeed
- Demonstrated experience in defence procurement and commercial environments
- A current NV1 security clearance (essential)
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- The ability to manage multiple priorities and work across varied tasks
- Experience providing project support or general project coordination
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
