Salary: $75k - $85k plus 12% Superannuation

Our client, Squared Joinery Pty Ltd, is a bespoke joinery designer, supplier and installer servicing NSW. The company delivers custom kitchen, bathroom, wardrobe, living and laundry solutions for residential, commercial, retail and education projects. The company utilizes German and Italian production equipment to ensure premium quality and precision across all work.

To support continued growth, the business is seeking a skilled and motivated Joiner to undertake timber and joinery fabrication work across workshop and installation projects.

As a Joiner, you will be responsible for studying drawings and specifications, selecting and preparing materials, cutting and assembling joinery components, and producing high-quality fittings and structures in line with project requirements. You will work closely with the production, design and installation teams to ensure every project is completed accurately, efficiently and to a high standard.

Key responsibilities

· Study drawings, plans and specifications to determine materials required, dimensions and installation procedures.

·Order, select and prepare timbers and other materials for joinery projects.

·Prepare layouts and mark out work for cutting, shaping and assembly.

·Cut materials and assemble and nail cut and shaped parts to form joinery components.

·Cut wood joints and assemble prepared wood to form structures and fittings ready for installation.

·Erect framework and roof framing where required, lay sub-flooring and floorboards, and verify the trueness of structures.

·Nail fascia panels, sheath roofs, and fit exterior wall cladding and door and window frames where required.

·Repair existing fittings and carry out remedial joinery work as required.

·Work with plastic laminates, perspex and metals in the production of joinery products.

·Operate hand and power tools safely and efficiently in the workshop and on site.

·Maintain a clean, organized and safe work environment in accordance with WHS requirements.

·Liaise with supervisors, designers, installers and other trades to ensure smooth project completion.

·Inspect completed work for quality, accuracy and compliance with project specifications.

Qualifications & experience

· AQF Certificate III including at least two years of on-the-job training, or AQF Certificate IV, in Joinery or a related field or at least three years of relevant experience

·Minimum one year experience in joinery, cabinetry, timber fabrication or related woodworking work.

·Ability to interpret technical drawings, measurements and specifications.

·Sound knowledge of workshop tools, materials and joinery methods.

· Strong understanding of workplace safety and quality standards.
