The City of Port Lincoln (Host Council), in conjunction with the District Council of Ceduna, District Council of Cleve, District Council of Elliston, District Council of Franklin Harbour, District Council of Kimba, Lower Eyre Council, District Council of Tumby Bay, District Council of Streaky Bay and Wudinna District Council are seeking expressions of interest from suitably qualified and experienced members of the public to fill 6 positions on the EPRAP, being 1 Presiding Member / 4 Independent Members and a Deputy Member.
The EPRAP is responsible for assessing a wide range of Development Applications against the provisions of the Planning and Design Code via the Planning, Development and Infrastructure Act 2016 (the PDI Act).
The EPRAP covers the ten (10) council areas listed above located on the Eyre Peninsula in South Australia.
The successful applicants must retain relevant planning skills, knowledge and experience whilst being accredited at a minimum level 2 Accredited Professional pursuant to the PDI Act.
EPRAP meetings are normally held monthly (every second Monday of the Month at 5:30pm), or, on an as needs basis at the City of Port Lincoln Council Chamber, Level 1, 60 Tasman Terrace, Port Lincoln. There is also capability for Panel Members to attend meetings via online means.
Expressions of Interest are welcomed from accredited professionals residing outside of the Region, however, local knowledge being a preferred attribute.
A remuneration fee is payable for each meeting (whether a meeting is held or not).
