We operate under the brand Cypress Tyres, with four branches across Brisbane, Gold Coast, Sydney, and Melbourne.
As our business continues to expand, our head office in Brisbane is seeking a proactive and analytical ICT Business Analyst to support our corporate operations. This role will be responsible for driving system improvements, supporting digital transformation initiatives, and ensuring our internal processes remain efficient and scalable across all branches.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyse and review business processes and system workflows across procurement, inventory, and logistics to identify operational gaps and opportunities for improvement.
- Gather, document, and translate business requirements from various internal stakeholders into clear functional and process specifications.
- Work closely with management and branch teams to ensure proposed system solutions and functional specifications meet business objectives.
- Support the implementation, configuration, and ongoing optimisation of internal ERP and inventory management systems, ensuring data integrity and workflow efficiency.
- Conduct data analysis and develop reports and dashboards to provide insights and recommendations that support management decision-making.
- Coordinate with external service providers and internal users to resolve system-related issues and improve system usability and efficiency.
- Participate in user acceptance testing of system enhancements and new functionalities, including validating requirements, identifying issues, and coordinating necessary adjustments.
- Prepare and maintain business process documentation, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and user guidelines for system functions.
- Assist with digital process improvement and workflow automation initiatives that enhance efficiency and support business growth.
Required Experience and Skills
- At least 3 years’ experience as an ICT Business Analyst.
- Experience supporting or working with business systems or operational workflows.
- Familiarity with wholesale industry, especially the tyre industry would be highly regarded.
- Strong understanding of business process analysis and requirements gathering.
- Ability to analyse data and translate findings into practical recommendations.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work across multiple departments.
- Highly organised, reliable, and capable of managing multiple tasks and deadlines.
