Formwork Carpenter – Full time position
ANM Building Group was established in 2009. ANM was created to deliver industry-leading subcontracting service to the construction industry. ANM Building Group has had 15 years of experience working with commercial, residential and industrial clients. We offer the complete package of FRP including excavation, formwork, reinforcement and concrete. ANM Building Group is expanding and looking for a skilled and fully qualified Formwork Carpenter to join our team. This is a Full-time position with 38-hour basic weeks.
The Role
We are currently recruiting skilled formwork carpenters for a permanent, full-time position.
Duties and Responsibilities:
-Ability to read and understand drawings
-Selecting and ordering materials required and prepare layouts
-Making formwork from timber, plywood or plastic and steel as per shop drawings
-Measuring and cutting wood or metal
-Assembling prepared wood to form structures and fittings ready to install
-Safely operating hand and power tools
-Prepared to assist other trades
Minimum Requirements:
-AQF Certificate III or IV in the relevant field
-Carpentry/concrete: 2 years (Required)
-Machinery: 2 years (Preferred)
-Construction White Card
Desirable Skills:
-Safety procedures knowledge
-Positive, can-do attitude and enjoy working in inclusive team
-Valid Driving License and transport desirable
