Archie Australia Pty Ltd is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Fleet Manager to oversee and manage our growing fleet operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the efficiency, safety, and cost-effectiveness of all company vehicles while maintaining compliance with relevant regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day fleet operations, including vehicle allocation, maintenance, and scheduling
- Monitor vehicle performance, fuel usage, and maintenance costs
- Coordinate regular servicing, repairs, and inspections of fleet vehicles
- Ensure compliance with Australian transport laws, safety standards, and company policies
- Maintain accurate records of vehicle registration, insurance, and servicing history
- Optimize fleet utilization to improve operational efficiency and reduce costs
- Manage relationships with suppliers, mechanics, and service providers
- Investigate and report on incidents, accidents, or vehicle issues
- Implement strategies to enhance fleet performance and reliability
Requirements:
- Minimum 1 year of experience in fleet management, logistics, or a related role
- Strong understanding of vehicle maintenance and fleet operations
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively
- Good communication and stakeholder management skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and fleet management systems (preferred)
- Valid driver’s license
