We are seeking a strategic, detail-oriented, and commercially minded Finance Manager to oversee the company’s financial management, reporting, compliance, and operational finance functions.

This role will play a key leadership position within the organisation and will be responsible for supporting business growth, financial planning, and decision-making while managing and supervising the finance team.

As we continue to grow, we are seeking an experienced and strategic Finance Manager to join our team and play a key role in supporting the financial health and future growth of the business.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Oversee and manage the company’s financial operations, accounting functions, and budgeting processes
  2. Develop, monitor, and evaluate financial strategies, forecasts, budgets, and reporting systems to support business growth
  3. Prepare and review financial reports, including profit and loss statements, cash flow reports, balance sheets, and financial forecasts
  4. Provide financial analysis and strategic advice to management regarding business performance, operational costs, and funding requirements
  5. Ensure compliance with Australian accounting standards, taxation obligations, payroll requirements, and financial legislation
  6. Coordinate and improve accounting systems, internal controls, and financial processes across the organisation
  7. Supervise and support the finance team, including the Accountant, Bookkeeper, and Payroll Officer
  8. Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll oversight, reconciliations, and NDIS-related financial administration
  9. Liaise with external accountants, auditors, banks, and relevant regulatory authorities
  10. Support long-term financial planning, operational efficiency, and organisational growth initiatives

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  1. A Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related discipline
  2. Minimum 3 years of relevant experience as a Finance Manager or in a similar senior finance role
  3. Strong knowledge of Australian accounting standards, taxation, payroll, and financial compliance requirements
  4. Excellent analytical, leadership, and organisational skills
  5. Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage competing priorities
  6. High-level communication and stakeholder management abilities
  7. Experience working within healthcare, disability services, recruitment, or staffing industries will be highly regarded
