Job Overview:

The role serves as a strategic finance partner to the market, driving data-backed decisions to enable sustainable and profitable growth. It owns end-to-end financial planning, forecasting, and performance management while focusing on margin expansion and ROI optimization. The position ensures strong alignment between the market and HQ through consistent reporting, governance and financial discipline. Additionally, it supports transformation initiatives and drives efficiency in working capital and cash flow management.
Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

1. Strategic Business Partnering

  • Act as the primary finance partner to the market GM and market leadership teams
  • Translate business strategy into financial roadmaps, scenarios/sensitivity analysis, and actionable insights based on data
  • Drive margin expansion through mix management, productivity initiatives, Net Revenue Realization excellence and productivity initiatives
  • Lead ROI evaluation of A&M (CAC) as well as trade spend and capital investments
  • Challenge and support commercial decisions based on data
  • Support prioritization of investments and provide cost saving measures to enable sustainable and profitable growth.

2. Planning, Forecasting & Performance Management

  • Lead the market’s annual operating plan, monthly forecasts, and long-term planning processes
  • Leverage analytics to improve forecasting accuracy and decision speed
  • Own market performance reviews, highlighting risks, opportunities, and corrective actions. Including MBR-IBP/PBR/QBR as well as tracking of key KPI’s (i.e CAC, CLTV, HH penetration and MS)
  • Own Australia P&L, gross margin, NOPBT margins to drive profit
  • Drive working capital optimization and cash flow improvement across markets
  • Ensure alignment of local plans with HQ financial frameworks and strategic priorities

3. HQ Interface & Transformation Support

  • Serve as the key finance interface between the market and HQ
  • Ensure consistent financial analysis and reporting according to group timeline, transparency, and alignment with group standards
  • Support change management from a finance perspective, helping market to adapt to the new structures, processes, and governance.

4. Reporting & Governance

  • Ensure strong financial discipline, visibility, and adherence to corporate policies, processes and controls

Qualifications

Key Skills Expected

    • Proven experience in translating financial data into business insights
    • Support strategic decision-making
    • Lead budgeting and forecasting processes
    • Conduct financial modelling and scenario planning
    • Influence stakeholders across functions
    • Challenge and support business leaders constructively
    • Drive performance improvement and cost optimization

Experience Typically Required

  • 7–10+ years in finance, FP&A, commercial finance, or accounting
  • Experience partnering with non-finance stakeholders
  • Strong analytical and communication skills
  • Exposure to budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and business performance management
  • Senior Finance Business Partner / Head of Finance Business Partnering
  • Strong stakeholder management with executive leadership teams
  • Experience in multinational or complex matrix organizations
