We're working with one of Australia's largest and most respected structural engineering firms, looking to expand their facade drafting team! About the role:
This is an exciting opportunity to join a highly respected team working on some of Sydney's most impressive projects in the buildings and infrastructure space. The firm is looking for a Senior Facade Drafter to bring expertise in facade-specific drafting, ensure high standards, and collaborate closely with engineers and designers.
For the right person, this could evolve into a leadership role, where you'll have the opportunity to mentor junior drafters and manage resources, offering a chance to grow into a people-focused management position.
What you'll need:
- Senior Facade Drafter with at least 5 years of experience in facade-specific drafting
- Strong knowledge of AutoCAD (Revit experience is a bonus, as the team plans to move to Revit for facades)
- Someone with great communication skills who can manage resources, team members, and maintain drafting standards
- Ability to review and check drawings and provide technical leadership to junior drafters
- If you're someone who wants to take on a leadership role, there's potential to step into a Team Lead position
